Constructive Waves Part 1 is both weaving and sound. It is a composition in wool and a composition for clarinet and electronics.
 
I composed the sound first and then wove the score. The music appears on my first album I met the universe half way.
 
'Constructive waves' is a play on water and the physics of a phenomenom called destructive waves. I feel music and weaving is the collaborative or constructive force of waves joining - whether it be sound waves, joined fibres or light waves (colour).
 
It is ready to hang.
