Pure wool shawl - handwoven using a fingering weight pure wool warp which gives these pieces gorgeous drape.
I then used a collection of Australian new and vintage pure wool and merino yarns in the weft - playing with colour and tone.
 
This piece features a naive pattern on one end of the shawl. I have used really bulky hand-spun yarn to create lines and pattern within the weaving.
 
They are large enough to wear as a shawl or large scarf.
